Here at the Carthage Spot, we do not believe that we should actually use your data to our advantage in any way.

Please note that we will try to stay away from using terms that confuse people. If you do not understand something, please contact a staff member to have it explained to you.

Your Private Information

• The information you give us during registration (your password, email, etc.) will not be distributed to anyone or to any database on any other website.
• The only use for your email is to let us stay in contact with you. This may be regarding any member disputes, possible staff positions, or anything else we feel you should be notified personally for.
• The email may also be included in a mailing list for mass emails. Your email will not be identifiable in any of these messages.
• Your password will be stored in a database and encrypted. This means that even if someone hacks into the database, your password will remain safe.
• Any IP Address you use will be stored in the database. These will only be used for bannings if needed.

Please note that if something involving you with a legal issue, we may be forced to give IP Addresses to a governmental authority. Please try to make it so that these cases do not occur so we will not have to do that.
